Schools and Youth Groups Workshops

RYANS_CAMERA_oct_07_014

Our “Find Your Center” workshops facilitated at your school will compliment and integrate into your existing Physical Education Programs.

Experiencing and Practicing balance leads to:

  • Increased neural pathways between the left and right hemispheres
  • Improved body and spatial awareness
  • Effective communication between the body and brain.
  • Naturally induced states of  focus and relaxation.
  • Greater self confidence to achieve goals thought unachievable.

The Find your Center Program

Through various techniques learned over many years of teaching Slacklining, the “Find Your Center” program delivers a fun and engaging way to experience the benefits of balance. The program was developed around the four Qualities of balance.

  1. FOCUS
  2. RELAXATION
  3. AGILITY/GRACE
  4. WILL

While learning to balance on the Slackline, participants will receive an EXPERIENCE of these qualities and how using/ not using them, has a direct and instant impact on what they are doing.

Woven through the session is the theme of balance in life, and how these four qualities of balance are found in everything that we do.

It is through the experience of these concepts that true learning takes place, and it is our role to inspire your students to access the qualities of balance they have within them already, to in fact.....find their centre!

This program is run from 2 up to 15 hours and can be tailored to suit the specific needs of your school.

It also costs less than $7 per student! based on a group of 15 students with one of our Slackline Australia Instructors for 1 hour.

Lessons $100 per hour or 3 hour Workshop $250

Testimonials

Bernard Dalton
Youth Support Coordinator (WMB)

I had the pleasure of experiencing Slackline thru my role as a School
based Youth Worker. The young people I was
working with described their time Slackling as ‘amazing’, ‘heaps of fun’,‘challenging’ and ‘awesome’.

The most important aspect of Slacklining for me is that it teaches young people key components of personal development. These areas include: Composure, Drive, Desire and Resilience.

I encourage everyone to give Slackline a go!!
